Podcasting Projects - 1st / 2nd May- This course will cover getting the basics right: Overview of key themes in podcasting and How to checklist. Why Podcast? Assessment of how podcasting can promote your project / agency with specific audiences: Service users, funders and others. Podcasting and excersises- Podcasting and working with groups and individuals / Developing further programme building. Developing Your Own : Identifying Podcasts you want to produce to promote your agency / project / What you should and maybe shouldn't promote. Devising and resourcing your podcast promotion. Staffing Services - 15th / 16th May How to staff and run services without paid staff. Parnetrship staffing, developing volunteers policies and projects, supporting and developing Student placements and and service user led groups. Ensuring that your staffing of services is incorporated into your buiness plan and fundraising strategy. What happens when it isn't. Fundraising Skills - 22nd / 23rd May -Supporting and developing a Fundraising Strategy. supporting the inclusivity and visibility of staff, students, volunteers and service users involvement in your fundraising strategy. Employing a fundraiser. Fundraising and networking - effective time and business planning towards meeting fundraising targets. This training will include work around motivational interviewing. |

Programme Planning - 5th / 6th June - How to plan, facilitate and evaluate your projects programmes. Research skills and qualitative and quantative assessment of need. Ensuring you are providing what is required of you as a community based agency. Developing partnerships and signposting policies that support community partipation in your project and local area services. Assessing Risk Health & Safety - 12th / 13th June - Undertaking risk assessments and moniroting and asessing health and safety in the workplace. Proactive analyis to pre-empt problems. Monitoring your managerial supervisory or employee responsibilities at the place of work. .Expectations and responsibilities of students, volunteers and service users. Undertaking a Risk and Healthy & Safety Audit Supervision and Appraisals - 26th / 27th June -Supervison and Appriasal prinicpals at work. Promoting effective, developmental, and creative supervision using person centred principals combined with motivational interviewing. Supporting individuals with quarterly supervision groups additional to one to one supervision. Developing efective, developmental and creative, appriaisals. Monitoring deveklopment in supervision and year end Appraisals. |
